The Sheraton Vistana Resort is NOT the same as Sheraton Vistana Villages. We found that out the hard way. We always stay at SVV when we go to Orlando. We love it there! The villas are the best! I love the way they are decorated...and they have the best hotel shampoo and conditioner I've ever used. :)
Keith accidentally booked our stay at the SVR this time. The price was just the same but we felt like we walked back into 1985. As soon as we opened the door, the aroma of Pine Sol hit us like a ton of bricks. Don't even get me started on the decor! Pink tiles in the bathroom with a matching pink and seafoam green floral border running around the top of every single room. No extras at all! We usually do our laundry with the complimentary detergent. They had nothing! No detergent, shampoo, conditioner or even soap!!! But it was available down the street at the drugstore. :( What a letdown!!! We didn't even use the pool. We checked out Saturday morning and came right home.
Let that be a lesson to us! Although we did have a great time at Universal Studios. Let me just say that the cost of the Express Pass was well worth it. We hit every ride at Universal and Islands of Adventure and still had time to go home and change and grab dinner in between the parks.
We had a wonderful time considering...but it's nice to be home. :)
